Ansaldo Nucleare capabilities encompass the design, construction and commissioning of facilities for size reduction, sorting, decontamination, measurement, handling and confinement of radwaste. Solutions include nuclear cranes and related devices, equipment and control systems for remote dismantling and remote recovery of active components from silo storage.
Over the years, Ansaldo Nucleare has gained extensive experience in decommissioning-dedicated products and services as well as in the supervision of on-site operations, based on established nuclear construction know-how. All projects stem from feasibility studies that evaluate all possible solutions based on safety guidelines, economic goals and technical requirements.
