The Ansaldo Energia plant in Genoa is subject to rigorous monitoring of energy consumption. Its management system undergoes periodic audits by certified lead auditors, which verifies the achievement of the objectives set out in the continuous improvement plan.
Managing energy as a strategic factor is a fundamental principle of corporate responsibility. Ansaldo Energia’s Energy Management System is integrated into the Company’s business model in accordance with ISO 50001 standards and is therefore fully compliant with its requirements.

Savings Management and Corporate Culture
Ansaldo Energia has a solid process for identifying opportunities for energy savings and the factors that influence the energy performance of its significant energy uses (SEUs). These assessments, known as energy audits, are updated annually.
In addition to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, Ansaldo Energia is committed to fostering a strong culture of energy efficiency through continuous improvement programs and ensuring that subcontractors meet all requirements for efficient energy management and use in every situation.
