Cyber security
In an advanced digitalization scenario, cyber threats can seriously affect not only classified data and information, but also valuable assets and entire systems. Ansaldo Energia cyber security policies are aimed at preventing and countering such attacks – offsetting the possible damage.
To achieve these goals, Ansaldo Energia has established a specific Enterprise Security Architecture, based on four main capabilities (Governance, Prevention, Detection, Response & Recovery).

Security activities are in line with the best general standards (including COBIT, ISO 27001, ISO 27002 and NIST) and industry standards (including ISA/IEC 62443 and NERC CIP).
IT services such as system monitoring, defence against threats and cyber risk mitigation are integrated into Ansaldo Energia new plants design, and also offered for the protection of existing plants.
