Flexibility is the ability for the plant to manage the variability and uncertainty of power supply and meet the demand from the grid across all relevant timescales.
Ansaldo Energia deals this challenge by providing a whole portfolio of solutions whose design features, equipment and operating practices comply with the most demanding requirements in terms of safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Flexibility is at the heart of Ansaldo Energia technical culture and development efforts, in order to ensure solutions that answer to the requirements of each stakeholder – from power markets to energy end-users.
Packages are also offered for grid resilience support: they include the installation of Synchronous Condensers and the implementation of storage solutions – such as the CO2 batteries integrated in the Energy Transition Combined Cycle.
