Geothermal plants
Ansaldo Energia began working in the geothermal field more than a hundred years ago, when it powered what is considered the first industrial-level geothermal steam facility in history.
Geothermal expertise and in-house machinery development have enabled Ansaldo Energia to achieve a high level of efficiency and flexibility – which translates into the capacity of adapting the project to site-specific constraints and steam conditions (up to 20 bars, up to 10°C superheated).
Ansaldo Energia geothermal steam turbines are available for both 50 and 60 Hz applications.
