The signing ceremony between Ansaldo Energia and Azerenerji took place yesterday in the presence of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, the President of Azerenerji, Baba Rzayev and the Chief Executive Officer of Ansaldo Energia, Giuseppe Marino.
The agreement provides for the supply of four AE94.3A gas turbines for the Mingachevir power plant and represents a significant partnership which opens the way for important business opportunities between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a round table to discuss the consolidated relationship between the two countries were held, as evidence of the privileged partnership established between Italian and Azerbaijani companies, especially in the energy sector. For Ansaldo Energia Group, the first steps for further developments of collaboration were also explored, both for the gas and the renewable energy sectors.
