The event has been held in Rome as part of the Minister's visit for the 75 years of Indian independence

Stefano Santinelli, Chief of international and public affairs of Ansaldo Energia, met in Rome the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of India, Piyush Goyal. Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of India in Rome as part of Goyal’s visit for the 75 years of Indian independence, the event included a series of one-to-one meetings between the Minister of Industry and the representatives of some of the leading companies in the Italian industrial landscape. "India must reach 30% of renewable energy by 2030," Goyal explained during the event. "The meeting was an excellent opportunity to illustrate the projects of the Ansaldo Energia Group concerning green technologies - said Santinelli - "From this point of view, India represents one of the markets with the highest potential and development perspective". 
Ansaldo Energia Group has been present in India since 1995, first with the joint venture Ansaldo Service together with the Indian company Ambience Management Services", then acquired 100% by our group and renamed Asia Power Projects Pvt Ltd. The first order for new units dates back to 1997-1998, with the supply of two turbines to the Thermal Plant of Neyveli, a city of the federated state of Tamil Nadu. Service activities are currently ongoing in several plants located in the Indian territory.
