Will nuclear energy come back in Italy?
While many countries recently announced the construction on new atomic power plants, the debate over a return of nuclear energy is blooming in Italy. On Thursday 20th of July Riccardo Casale, CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare, attempted to a meeting at the Italian House of Representatives.
“Our company is active in the whole market, from new build, service and decommissioning to defense and fusion. We are developing the new Small Modular Reactors. We are also acknowledged european leader in the Lead Fast Reactor (LFR)”, said Casale.
Among the speakers were Stefano Monti, recently elected President of the Italian Nuclear Association, Claudio Descalzi, CEO of Eni, Roberto Cingolani, CEO of Leonardo and Nicola Monti, CEO of Edison.
