Reto Furrer
Executive Vice President Service
Reto Furrer is currently Ansaldo Energia's Executive Vice President Service.
Reto and his Team are responsible to satisfy our Service Customer's operational and maintenance needs by delivering Ansaldo Energia’s multi-platform Service solutions fully leveraging our advanced technology know-how.
Prior to Ansaldo Energia, Reto has worked 23 years in the GT/CC Power Generation Business of ABB and Alstom in Switzerland, having roles of increasing responsibilities in their New unit and Service organizations before becoming the Head of the Alstom E-Fleet Service P&L.
In 2016, with the acquisition and integration of Alstom Power's divested assets he joined Ansaldo Energia as the Head of the GT26 Service P&L in Switzerland. With the re-organization in 2020 he became Senior VP Service Project Management. In October 2023, Reto was appointed to his current position.
Reto received his Masters of Science degree in Engineering from the ETH Zürich and his Executive MBA degree from the universities of Bern and Rochester.
