Adham: Digital Manufacturing comes into The Factory
“ADHAM is a mechatronics system developed by Ansaldo Energia which, integrated on one of our manufacturing machines, improves quality control in the production of turbine discs, which require a guaranteed coupling with very high quality standards,” explains Enrico Pignone, Technology Innovation Specialist. “The introduction of this system allows us to transition from an analogue quality control process to a digital one, reducing the control times by almost 80% and achieving almost surgical precision.”

The manufactruing Digitalization: not an option, but a necessity
Digital technologies within production processes generate an epochal change. They are a challenge that - as Lighthouse Plant for Industry 4.0 technologies - we have taken up and face on a daily basis ”says Daniela Gentile, Chief Innovation Officer of Ansaldo Energia. “Adham is a clear example of this: not only does it enable the digital management of quality information and accelerates production, but - above all - it allows data to be managed throughout the life span of the component, providing essential information for improving construction and design.
