Ansaldo Energia's Integrated Plant Support (IPS) diagnostics center brings together our Customer Support functions located around the globe into a centralized operational platform. The purpose of the IPS center is simple: offer improved reliability, availability and maintainability of our customer's power generating equipment. Ansaldo utilizes two front-end customer support centers, one in Genoa, Italy the other in Jupiter, Florida, which seamlessly handle routine remote monitoring & diagnostic (RM&D) tasks and urgent situations 24/7/365, for any of our service agreement customers.  These centers are staffed with experience M&D personnel, trained to leverage the latest analytical & predictive diagnostic tools that assure our customer's assets are operating without issues as well as offer remote combustion tuning.

The data acquisition system, proprietary know-how and industry tools customized by Ansaldo Energia's engineering team allow every OEM's rotating machinery owned by our customer – gas turbine, steam turbine and generators – to be effectively monitored regardless of the technology platform.  To handle this technology diversity, the M&D center team have the backing of our Extended Engineering Support (ESS) centers, where our staff of experienced engineers leverage a structured methodology to quickly access our vast historical database of resolved alarms in both a qualitative and data driven solution way.

This responsive, pro-active approach to supporting our customers and ensure they can achieve their business objectives, is what makes Ansaldo's IPS center so valuable.

A daily check of plant parameters and periodic  reports are provided, as well as feedback for maintenance optimization.

IPS assists plant operation with a range of services, such as troubleshooting, remote balancing, GT controller tuning, combustion tuning and GT restart assistance.

Advanced Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics Systems allow real time connection for vibration analysis, performance analysis, combustion analysis and Generator diagnostics.

The Ansaldo Predictive EXpert System (APEX M&D), based on Neural Networks, provides Real Time Predictive Diagnostics and Early Warning notifications to identify precursors of failures.

This combination of expert processes and software works day and night for your plant, to help you get the highest performance and reliability capability possible.
