Open Cycle - Features
The latest open cycles supplied abroad are the Hamma power plant in Algeria and the plants of the so-called "Iran project", based on a co-operation with Customer Mapna for 42 gas turbines.
In Algeria, the Hamma II plant (230 MW), built for customer Sonelgaz, comprises two open cycles units engineered for possible future extension to include a combined cycle or sea water desalinators.
The 30 gas turbines project, in Iran extends along seven sites; at present, works are underway at four sites, Kerman, Kazeroon, Isfahan and Damavand: 17 complete units with a total capacity of more than 2700 MW have been installed and put into commercial service.
