As a result, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) are becoming Ansaldo Energia's cornerstone of its service business. With the constant goal to increase the total availability and the operational efficiency of the power plants, the customers' return on investment of an LTSA contract is guaranteed by Ansaldo Energia's ability to provide state-of-the-art technologies and world-class expertise in order to:
- Anticipate technical issues
- Optimise scheduled and unscheduled interventions and inspections
- Optimise spare parts management
- Supply, install and commission equipment
- Maintain and operate day-by-day
As far as contractual arrangements are concerned, under a partnership approach framework Ansaldo Energia proposes a number of Long Term Agreements, ranging from Frame Agreements (which define technical, economical reference rules for activities and predefined spare parts) to more composite contracts which include the entire provisioning of planned maintenance (L.T. Maintenance A.) and other planned or unplanned activities (L.T. Service A.).
Finally, more advanced contracts include committed guaranties on the availability and performance of the plants (L.T. Performance A.).
Under such agreements, Ansaldo Energia shares its Customers’ risks and provides a wide-spread, comprehensive overall assistance.
