Combined Cycle

Combined cycle systems, which use both steam and combustion turbines, are the most fuel-efficient power production option for many utilities and independent power producers (IPPs).
Combined cycles deliver high fuel efficiency and low air emission rates, so contributing to international efforts in favour of a cleaner and healthier environment, as well as having the modest space requirements which customers also find appealing.

The possibility of phased construction provides additional flexibility for project owners.
A distinctive feature of Ansaldo Energia is its in-house manufacturing capability for all major plant components, including gas turbines. It also offers plant design and engineering competences, in addition to the management of construction and erection, through to full turnkey supply.

Plant configurations are designed based on the characteristics of the main Ansaldo Energia components to achieve the best possible performance, optimise capital cost and comply with environmental authority requirements. After sales service, maintenance and personnel training can also be supplied on request.
